1 Tuna Pocket TRATA tuna in olive oil
100 grams whole grain fusilli pasta
2 tomatoes
1 garlic clove
1 teaspoon tomato paste
4-5 thyme leaves
3 basil leaves
¼ teaspoon bukovo
2 tablespoons olive oil
Freshly ground pepper

Directions
Boil the pasta in plenty salted water and strain.
Peel the tomatoes and remove their seeds.
Prepare the tomato sauce in the blender, by mixing the tomatoes, tomato paste, olive oil, basil, thyme, garlic, bukono, salt and pepper, until you obtain a creamy texture.
Add the tomato sauce to the warm pasta and mix.
Serve, adding the tuna and 2-3 fresh basil leaves.
Tips
- You can use any type of whole wheat pasta you like
- This recipe goes well with peppers, which can also be spicy
- If you don’t have fresh tomatoes, you can use canned or cherry tomatoes instead
- This tomato sauce is not cooked but it is very easy and tasty and it will thrill you!
- It is a light and cool summer dish. You can add grilled eggplant, some feta cheese and enjoy it as a cold pasta salad
- In wintertime, you can prefer warm pasta and you can make it more ‘spicy’ by adding black olives and more bukovo
